Winemaker Notes
Luke Chardonnay is 100% Evergreen Vineyard, one of Washingtons premier white wine vineyards. Burgundian in style, one-third of Luke chardonnay is barrel fermented and barrel aged. The result is a wine layered with notes of creme brule, vanilla, mango, banana peel and baked pie crust. A thin layer of minerality and acidity lengthen the finish providing a lasting impression.

The wine's aromas are fruity and spicy, with cantaloupe, pear and cayenne pepper holding court. The acidity is tangy, but the texture is creamy and smooth. There's lots of pink grapefruit and yellow apple flavors here, along with a trace of cedar and something similar to peach schnapps.
